He stated that the present youth have witnessed within a single decade what previous generations did not face even in fifty years — pandemics, wars, cyberattacks, climate emergencies, mental-health challenges, and swift technological disruptions.

Dr. Singh cited several critical facts:
COVID-19 claimed over 15 million lives worldwide,
The global economy shrank by –3.3% in 2020,
Youth employment declined by 8.7% (ILO),
India faced more than 1.4 million cyberattacks in 2023,
Air pollution caused 6.4 million global deaths annually,
Mental-health cases rose by 25% (WHO).
